FAQs

Q: How many Empanadas do I need for a meal?

A: If they are served as a starter, 1 empanada per person is sufficient. But if they are the main course, we suggest 3 to 4 empanadas per guest.

Q: What can I serve to accompany the empanadas?

A: A fresh green salad or a light soup is a great companion for empanadas. For drinks, there is nothing better than an Argentinean Malbec wine.

Q: Do you sell them baked?

A: We sell our empanadas baked at the Hills Market in Worthington. However, in some occasions for small catering orders we can bake our products. Please contact us for details.

Q: How long in advance should I place my order?

A: For orders of 4 dozen or less, 24 hours. For 5 dozen or more, please contact us.

Q: Do you provide cooking instructions?

A: Each Empanada box comes with very easy to follow cooking instructions. The baking time varies between 12 to 15 minutes depending on the strength of your oven. You would treat our empanadas same as a frozen pizza.

Q: Do you deliver the Empanadas?

A: For orders of 6 dozen or more, we will deliver in Clintonville, Upper Arlington, Worthington, Dublin, and Powell, Ohio. Otherwise, they have to be picked up at an arranged time at our address in Worthington.

Q: Do you sell a sauce for the empanadas?

A: It is important to know that in Argentina, we do not add any type of sauce to empanadas. In Tucuman, where we are from, once you take the first bite you can add some fresh lemon juice drops inside the empanadas to enhance its taste. Chimichurri is a dressing for meats, NOT empanadas.
